The association and their arenas house a bunch of different stores as well, selling a bunch of diff food/jerseys etc Which also spread to malls, pretty much all links in the same chain Tailgating is a franchise within itself, and the beat goes on
so basically the rockets did everything all wrong because we have too many franchise players now... ?
What? The top 50 players in NBA history are franchise players. Hakeem, Curry, Duncan, LeBron, Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Isiah Thomas, Jokic….are these not franchise players? This comes off as a potential Jalen Green apologist thread since he will never live up to the fanboy hype.
Not sure what is that being called in psychology terms but there is this syndrome of going through 3 years of hell and then try to mitigate it with insane optimism......
Of course franchise players exist, the Rockets don't have one, but that doesn't mean they don't exist at all.
I am optimistic about this year’s team due to their newfound depth and serious coaching upgrade. Jabari and Amen are likeliest to be championship cornerstones, imo. Jalen Green leading the team in FGAs is a concern. Green needs to be foisted onto another GM that has a crush on him, before the Rockets give him a ridiculous extension that eats up the cap space we have to play with.
