All I can do is speculate - but it isn’t surprising to me that he and Javier have struggled… I expected Valdez, Javier and Pressly to struggle…. They all pitched deep into the World Series, and then went straight into the World Baseball Classic… then basically straight into Spring Training… I expected fatigue and injuries. Valdez already had an injury and hasn’t looked as focused or sharp the last time out… tonight 5 of his 6 runs were with 2 outs.

Yes it does. It shows that Jose Altuve is a special human being and a special baseball player and the team love and respect him enough to not ruin one of the most wonderful accomplishments of his baseball career because of a loss in a gamecwhere every team loses 50+ games every year. These 2 losses are only tragic if they let them snowball. Still less than 3 games behind Texas with 3 against them coming up.
