I will bring brass knuckles and wield the same jagged rib cage buster blade with reinforced metal handle that the maniac in “Cobra” had.

Brewers held on, barely. Rangers got 4 runs in the ninth but lost 9-8. Rangers showed a lot more fight than the Astros.

At what point does FO go up to Dusty and rein in his experimental or whatever the hell you call his lineups? Is there any sense of urgency to actually get wins to even make the playoffs, let alone win the division? This isn't like last year or even early in the season; Astros need to put out lineups with a sense of wanting to win with less than 40 games left. I just don't see it with lineups like today...offense is inconsistent already, and these types of setup makes it worst.

No, nothing is for sure with Dusty. If we win the World Series he is very likely to come back.

If Baker doesn’t comeback - the guy that is held in the highest esteem for his intelligence and understanding of the game is Alex Cintron. He is the go to guy for stealing signs, seeing if pitchers tip their pitches, making batting adjustments and very well thought of on the player development side. He also is well respected by the players.

I personally want the Red Sox to decline Alex Cora’s option so the Astros can hire him - but all of this is pie in the sky for now.

Huh? They went out there in the 9th and were a hit away from a tie game. Ya score four in the ninth and lose that’s still a loss. Old golf saying….they’re no pictures accompanying the final score, they lost as did we. 2-0 or 9-8 both Ls

When the Astros were shopping for a catcher, Maldy tweeted that he would demand a trade and some other things, then deleted his account
He's been very defensive and pissy in interviews lately

He probably wasn't an Astros fan until 2020 when his dad became the manager.

Yeah he's very defensive about being a starter. Tweeted that he would he refuse to be a back-up and would demand a trade when their were rumors of Astros looking into Contreras and Murphy. And then he deleted when they went to other teams. He was interviewed by the Fox broadcasters when they played the Angels last week and looked annoyed/pissed when they asked him about how good Diaz has looked.

He wasn't on the team in 2017. In 2019, he was the backup and Robinson Chirinos got most of the starts when they got to the WS.

yes he was irritated. Even said “he’s learning”. I took note of that. It was shitty. Also shitty was the question. I mean, why ask Maldy about his backup, who is outperforming him. Maldy knows that the fans are screaming for Diaz. I think it was in poor taste or at least “tone deaf” to ask him that question.
