Again I’m not claiming a Putin is a genius. I’m claiming Trump is easily manipulated. You seem to be having an argument that I’m not making. Trump says a lot of things. Among those on more than one occasion are that he believes Putin over his own Administration. In addition to telling Merkel she should spend more on defense he also threatened to pull US out of NATO something that Putin would love. Putin is a failed leader. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t able to get a lot of benefit out of Trump.
In another rambling, nonsense answer, Trump tried to make his claim again that Putin would've never dared invaded Ukraine because Trump "had a dominant personality over his." Putin laughs, as he watches the guy on his puppet strings, and winks at his comrades.
