I would be mad if my GM lied to me too. But with me being tight with Embid and PJ guys I call my friends and already being a multi millionaire and having various business adventures that are doing incredibly well I would have just played out this season and left. This is becoming a sad end to a great players career. I hate to see it. I didn't fault him for wanting out of Houston or away from Kyrie but there is no reason for this. It's childish.
The slightest sign of Harden being unhappy would suggest diminished returns on court. Simply cant count on this man to perform his absolute best which is troublesome.
Why are players so upset that management lies to them about intentions? For one, things are constantly changing. Players might become available and change the calculus. How many players have told management or fans that they’re coming back or would never leave and then immediately jump ship when an opportunity presents itself or the team starts to slip? Such babies.
