Count me in as not interested in having to make a major trade with Daryl Morey. It's him and Ainge, the two guys I'd never make trades with in the NBA.

They can have KPJ/Tate, otherwise, no deal.

Embid’s games played and he is getting older:

    33
    63
    64
    51
    51
    66
    68

trading away a bunch of assets for an aging asset at 7 ft with a track record of injuries would be idiotic, unless we are really close to a championship and Sengun turns out just to be run of the mill.

Embiid alone would not be enough. Philly can't make a deep run despite having a well-built roster that can shoot and defend around their MVP. Putting him on a 22 win team full of kids that can't shoot is a recipe for disaster. And Philly would want everything we have.

A team that's more ready to compete would be in better position? Miami can offer Embiid a chance to win and Philly a package around a younger Adebayo. They were already interested in Dame because they're in win now mode. We're far from that.

I get frustrated watching Embid on the Sixers. I can only imagine what the viewing experience would be like if he was a Rocket.

Iko is only going to suggest we give Bari,Tari, Green, Sengun and 5 first round picks for Embid

That would be semi giving up on Sengün for probably 2-3 years of semi contention.

If anyone even thinks about including Sengun in a trade for Embiid, they are crazy. Sengun is on the way up (in a big way), Embiid on the way down (and a proven playoff choker).

I suppose you fap over to the Bay Area and convince Hayes to be part of this.

I like some of Iko's articles. But there is clearly some articles they get out just looking for subscribers to bait with the monthly suscription. And I believe I would me more inclined to keep paying if the coverage was accurate and not smoke selling.

Most of ya'll sound like you are still bitter about missing out on Taylor Swift tickets.

Not that I'm advocating this, but we are talking about in 1-2 years from now. Anything can happen. At that point in time, we'll know much better which of our young core is panning out and how they play (together) and who still has potential but isn't getting enough playing time.

The correct answer is "it depends" and we'll revisit next offseason when this becomes a relevant question.

Kelly "Click bait" Iko just stop.

In case there is any hint of reality, he's a hard pass for me. Joel is supremely talented, but seems to play at about 80% effort. Don't need that kind of superstar with our young talent, let the Knicks have him, he's perfect for NY.

I do not think he is a low effort player in the playoffs. He had some insane blocks where he sprinted down the court and sacrificed his body on the play this year, for instance. I think it's more that he's always hurt toward the end of the season and into the postseason.
