James Harden says 'Daryl Morey is a liar…'

Right? Who is less risky at this point, Jimmy or Kyrie? Never though I could honestly ask such a question but there it is.

 

Well, Darryl Morey is a liar. He lied to Chris Paul. He lied to Carmelo as well. James is just mad because now he’s on the receiving end of it. He had no problem when it was serving his own selfish agenda.

Well, the Carmelo one is true. Regarding Paul, I'd say you're not lying if you make an agreement under a different set of conditions; e.g. someone else steps in and causes the promise to be broken. We have absolutely zero evidence that Morey would've dumped Paul without Harden and Fertitta forcing it, other than deductive logic that he had dumped other players at other times.

 

I wouldnt say he had no problem you dont actually know that.

 

Lets defend Morey and say Ok its Fertitas fault Paul got traded because we all know they wanted Wesbrick. WHY DID MOREY HAVE TO LIE LIKE THAT? Morey already knew Paul was being traded when he told Paul he wasnt lol Morey is not the best GM imo he's overrated. That Capela trade was disgusting and I will never forgive him for it. Some of his moves in Philly have been odd as well.

Well, if Paul was telling the truth, that is, it's two days before the trade, I doubt that Morey didn't know the trade was coming up that close to it.

Why do you state it as "let's say... it's Fertitta's fault" when Fertitta took credit? More correctly: Fertitta said it's Fertitta's fault. We don't factor into it. This is a matter of fact, not opinion.

It's possible for Morey to be overrated and Ferttita to be the reason so much bad **** happened since 2018. Every single thing he did after Fertitta joined was disgusting. He fielded 2 WCF teams before that. I wonder if there's a correlation?

Anyway, carry on hating Morey, I just won't abide any positive words (implicitly or explicitly) for the owner that has wrecked our team. Morey and Harden are Rockets history now.

 

Morey deserves the grief, quite frankly. He bailed on it the first time Harden pulled this crap.

Anyway the original point was if it was totally on tillman why did Morey lie? Its because Morey is a liar like Harden says lol on the other points we clearly agree so im not sure why im the only morey hater in the scenario lol Also being a morey hater isnt an insult. I feel like you dont understand the situation. HARDEN DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE HE ACTUALLY WANTED TO STAY IN PHILLY LONG TERM. Morey wouldnt give him along term did when he said he would. Harden opted in when he didnt have to because morey promised him a trade. morey then didnt try to trade him in earnest. How is this hard to understand? We all know he took the pay cut last year for a specific back room deal so not sure what youre on about.
