It's time for some younger people with energy. Vivek, DeSantis, maybe Beto O'Rourke (?).

I'm surprised but damn, he seems like the second strongest candidate for the Republicans. DeSantis is DOA.

Good for him. He was dismissed by most early on, but has caught on stronger than many (including myself) thought he would.

Nah, Beto is toast. He is a prisoner of geography (Texas is huge and he can't win statewide office here) like Buttigieg (Can't win statewide in Indiana). The difference is that the latter got a cabinet position to raise his profile and Beto didn't.

I personally like Beto, he is a down to earth dude but the majority of Texans could not get him past the finish line, he went full on with emotion when Uvalde happened and they pinned the old "he`ll take your guns away" schtick on him...................but boy oh boy we can keep reelecting friggin Cruz and no one seems to like him.................he only wins because he has an r next to his name and people here pick mostly straight party in rural areas so he wins by default.

I want to see how Vivek deals with trump during a hard debate where trump assigns a nickname to him and berates him on stage, up until now Vivek has been kissing his a$$, even stating he would like him as a mentor (please stop the ass kissing) if he were President. You have to distinguish yourself from trump and lay your cards on the table, hell, if you just going to mimic trump then why does the gop need you other then to be a mouthpiece, you can do that without running. IMO Christi has done the best to call out what trump DIDNT do and what he would do to remedy the situation, he goes hard after Biden and trump. The gop and the base...............I know this is shocking, will start to bring up everything Vivek doesn't bring to the table, such as his faith if he crosses trump. I need Vivek to get off the proverbial fence and see how he does when he has to go head-to-head with trump, especially after trump starts to bully and the base and fellow mouth pieces that MTG and gaetz pick up the mantle trump lays down and goes after him............that's the only way people are going to know if he is his own man, or just a walking character of the mild maga base

Yeah we sure do need young people with their dipshit ideas. This whole obsession with young vs old is so stupid. Presidents don't run the show. Their cabinet and staff do.

Imagine how our allies in the indo pacific feel after seeing dumb **** like this from MAGA

He said exactly that nd hewitt disconnected the line quickly after

Vivek was a hedge fund type of guy. What do you expect from these businessmen who are pretend leaders. Their all scumbags who have no loyalty to anything other than $$$ folks like @AroundTheWorld are always brainwashed just like lefties were with Obama. Obama was a failure with what he had and he was "young"

I don't buy the age argument

I actually don't think Ramaswamy expects to win. I think this election is about setting him up for future office.

Without a doubt. But if he criticizes Trump he'll sink his future. Unlike Cruz or other guys Trump takes a crap on, Ramaswamy is already a non-white non-Christian. He won't survive a Trump undressing.

You'll notice that he always takes Trump's side in fact. Smart move for him politically. Winning is not his game. It's getting the attention and favor of Trump either for a cabinet post or Trump's future backing in other areas. People think his game is to thread lighty to get the favor of Trump voters. That's only partly the case. He wants the favor of Trump himself - a far more potent chip to have in your stash...even if Trump is in jail.

Vivek knows how to brown nose.

Lots of Wall Street hedge fund and Silicon Valley VC types really like Trump, for reasons I both understand and don't.

They do, a lot of them admire him because he says what they want to say. That's the appeal of Trump. Trump wants a world where money talks and money rules. That's exactly how they feel.
