Getting a little late in the season to be down 3.5 games.

And rangers up 5-0. I think we are seeing the better team, or at least better managed team

I can’t believe he was productive on offense or defense

Man if only somebody else could manage and Yanier could play every game. They’d be undefeated

He probably spent a lot of time planning it. Wonder if he'll get Javier to throw down the middle tomorrow also, or maybe get another pass ball or two?

AJ Pierzynski was slobbing that Dusty knob all day during the Saturday game, I about vomited.

    “He uses his eyes”
“great feel for what he sees”
    “pitchers love pitching for Dusty”

yea no ****, they get to pitch for Dusty until their arm falls off…..

@Nook please tell me you’re hearing grumbling about Crane or Brown getting fed up and real change coming

I’m “**** the Rangers” as much as the next guy but let’s be honest, they’re a good team, they’re not going anywhere, they aren’t “lucky” or “coming back to earth”, Max Scherzer is not “washed” (and whatever else we tell ourselves to make us feel better). … This is also not me saying they’re going run through the postseason and win it all.

Speaking of, they just swept these fish 10 days ago.

And going forward, a baby soft schedule.

Angels(currently), Brewers, @ DBacks, @ Twins, @ Mets, Twins, Astros, A’s, @ Blue Jays, @ Guardians, Red Sox, Mariners, @ Angels, @ Mariners

4-14 from your top four, three from Altuve, that’s not going to cut it, be nice to have an extra plus bat toward the bottom of the line up if we only had one, oh wait……

Hopefully Neris’ effective ship hasn’t sailed this season.

He needs a 1.5 appearance/week average the remainder of the season… with his next game not until Saturday, preferably Sunday

Bad luck game for the bats
Astros not named Maldonado 2-10 RISP
Framber and Neris 2 2B (RBI) and 3 solo HR
    Maldy is just not good
    Dusty is Dusty

Meaningful ABs where the ball was *not* hit hard right at some jackass Marlin defender:

2nd: Singleton, 2 on no out FO
    2nd: Meyers, bases loaded 1 out K
2nd: Maldy, bases loaded 2 out jamshot popup
6th: Yordan 1 on no out FO
    6th: Chas 1 on 1 out FO
    7th: Maldy 1 on 1 out GO
    7th: Bregman 2 on 2 out K
    8th: Singleton 2 on 0 out FO
    8th: Pena 2 on 1 out GIDP
    9th: Tucker 1 on 2 out GO

Not a single one of those outs even advanced a baserunner, iirc

This was a team effort, but sure, it's all "Maldy, Maldy, Maldy" like the ****ing Brady Bunch
