I don't think Iran gaining a nuke is particularly troubling for anyone else, and is near to essential for their own survivability.

Would it be ideal if no new nations got nukes? Yes.

 

It's not that I don't care, it's just that I feel like there's not much that can be done anymore. The saying "f*ck around and find out" comes to mind, and unfortunately, Trump did just that, so we'll soon see the consequences.

 

Should expect the Saudi nuke soon, and probably the end of the NPT eventually, which was probably doomed anyway.

 

This was a predictable consequence of backing out of the nuclear deal, whatever it’s limitations.

 

Well the Ayatollahs, Putin (latest enemy) etc are completely bonkers. It seems incredibly crazy, but theIranians would not hesitate to end the world by using their first nuke on Israel despite Israel responding with dozens if not hundreds of their nukes.

More seriously this was very predictable when the US under Trump with Israeli encouragement wrought when they ended the Iran nuclear agreement.

 

Israel cares and will likely pull out some stops before it becomes a reality.

 

Israel is a paper tiger except for their nukes.

 

Israel is an apartheid state as even more Israelis are starting to realize. Militarily they are, except for their nukes completely dependent on the USA

 

I wonder who pulled the US out of the Iran nuke deal?

 

One more country that can never be invaded again.

Nukes are such a catch 22. They can end civilization but also can prevent major wars between major conventional militaries
