    But I thought Dusty knew his players better than anyone.

    Remember Maldy hid multiple injuries toward the end of last season and Dusty refused to play Vasquez more than once per week

    But I thought Click had full control/final say on the playoff roster, lineups, pitching decisions both starters/bullpen, pinch-hitters, pinch-runners, shift configurations, bathroom breaks, and which uniforms they wore?

    Conspiracy theory fodder...the injury is not much of an anything. It's just a way to give Singleton a chance and Abreu a rest and time to get his head right. This was happening regardless. Someone finally made the call.

    They went through Hensley, your boy Madris, Keppinger, Singleton and now are back to Hensley as the replacement IFer

    So no, there isn't an extra 1Bman in AAA right now.

    I guess we will all know when we reach the playoffs. I think he started McCormick every game in CF in the playoffs last year and stopped the Dubon shenanigans. He did play our best team last year, unless you think Vazquez was a better choice than Maldy. That lineup almost swept the playoffs.
