Dubon at CF, and no longer sure if anyone will be there to override that.

 

Leadership is a difficult thing. I doubt Brown is content. Brown likely doesn't want to disrupt the clubhouse, but is trying to overcome years of decisions that have cultivated loyalty between the star players and Baker and Baker towards certain players. Baker being close to a lame duck, if not one means there really isn't anything that can be done to him within reason. Baker is playing the game like he wants to play the game and likely has figured out nothing can be done about it by Brown outside extreme measures. Brown is likely trying to influence Baker's decisions instead of cracking the whip (which could have very dire consequences this late in the season).

It seems like Dusty is testing his limits. He played Dubon in LF one game. Brown likely said nothing thinking it was just one game. Then there was a game in CF. Now, Dubon may be getting more PT than Julks did in the OF going forward.

 

I like this lineup.

That is a helluva lineup. Hope it lasts more than 10 minutes, but more importantly..hopefully lineups in the future are very similar to this one as baseball has a lot of variance.

I have one day I can br happy. We played our best 9 available for the second time all year. Guess it’s a weekend thing (last time was last Friday).

It would be very Dusty to give Hensley most of the 1st base starts because of his vet status over Singleton.

 

That should be the playoff lineup

it is the lineup I have been advocating all year, except singleton who wish a lot of luck will be an upgrade.
