If you are going to insist on a mediocre C and a mediocre CF, it would make some sense to ask for a 1B who at least has the capability to hit.
I remember going to Singleton's first game back in like 2012 or 2013. It, like tonight, was against the Angels and, like tonight, he hit a home run...and, like tonight, Astros won.
bona-fide? He has been literally the worst starting first baseman in baseball this year. -1.3 WAR. I don’t care if it is Singleton or a rejuvenated Abreu, but Jose has been far, far from serviceable.
Bill Brown was the best part of the night for me. Never thought I'd get to hear him call any part of an Astros game again. He's easily my favorite announcer ever. He was always such a great straight man. Though to see it in an inning but over the course of thousands of innings - he made watching the Astros feel comfortable.
Yeah/ this the part of the sentence that says “or have anyway”. Without click are we going to see Dubon get all the JV starts, nothing but Maldy, and all the other Dusty fetishes that go away in the past during the playoffs? Who knows.
Without Click, Dubon is wearing a different uniform. And 2nd base is a chasm the first 1/3 of the season. I hate him in the OF, and he is NOT starting calibur, but as the 12th or 13th player he is exactly they type of player who wins a team Championships. Dusty and his idiotic lineups is the problem not Dubon.
I hope they post that somewhere. I saw him on, but couldn't watch/listen as I was doing things around the house.
Can we rework Abreu's contract to give Singleton all of his money? Abreu can have some of the money when he's not a ******* BUM. @Nook @The Drake
Bill Brown was awesome. Thought this was pretty cool (FT Dodgers though lol) i do really enjoy Sparky and Robert Ford. I’m a weirdo and sometimes put on podcasts to fall asleep to. A Ford and Spark broadcast would be perfect and i mean that in the best way.
In his SECOND game with the Astros, Singleton already has 20% of the homers Abreu has on the season. Abreu hasn’t homered twice in a game for the Astros. Singleton did it in his SECOND game.
