So now we should think he's a lazy fk because he can't be bothered to write another article? Kidding; it's a fair enough explanation.
My post had nothing to do with @Clutch, it was just about how--just like the Rockets--the Turkish team didn't start Sengun.
I think that was a deliberate move from the coach. Sengun didn't want to come to the preliminary games (Iceland, Bulgaria, Ukraine!!) so I'm sure he just had to be put in his place. Our coach is not the most lovable human being. This makes his half-assed praise of Sengun during the post-game interview so much sweeter, ah hah ha!
Here is the link to the FIBA Olympic Pre-qualifying Tournament (OPQT) held in Turkey (August 12 to 20). You can buy a pass ($20) to watch most all OPWT games via Courtside 1891. The pass includes access to the FIBA World Cup, which is to follow. Turkey's games in the initial round-robin are as follows: vs Iceland -- Sat Aug 12th at noon CDT vs Bulgaria --Sun Aug 13th at 12:45 pm vs Ukraine --Tues Aug 15th at noon The top 2 teams in their bracket after 3 games advance. Tournament winners advance to the Paris Olympics. There will be 5 OPQT's taking place around the world starting tomorrow (Turkey, Poland/Estonia, Argentina, Syria, Nigeria). If you like your basketball, this is a great deal to see a lot of games.

I thought Yurtseven still looked taller, and he’s listed at 6’11.75 in shoes per his combine measurement. My guess is Sengun is 6’10-6’10.5 in shoes. Not bad, but also not 7ft for sure.
With all due respect, i stopped Clutch taking seriously about anything remotely related to Sengun after he said “Sengun has high basketball IQ, OFFENSIVELY.”
Glad you clarified your take. https://www.clutchfans.net/12583/alperen-sengun-rockets-off-the-bench/ I for one thought you were echoing other posters remarks regarding Clutch's take, and him giving kudos to the Rockets on starting Bruno over Sengun. In hindsight, that was a terrible decision by the Rockets, but not so much at the time it was proposed. That's why I hate the thought of trading any of our young core players (Apli,Green,Bari,Tari and now Amen and Cam) without giving them a chance to play without the tanking mandate and under coach Ime. Spoiler: True then - True now Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
I believe we will have 3 franchise players, Sengun, Jalen, and Jabari. We are getting the 3 superstars together organically instead of through Free Agency. I think Clutch was and is wrong on Sengun, but we are all entitled to our opinion.
The way I heard it, the saying goes, men never forgive but they forget. Women forgive, but never forget. So maybe others will have a connotation about you that you are not intending, if you’re gonna use that line.
Joking aside, no team can afford 4 franchise players. If two of the kids turns out to be franchise level players and two other high end role players, we'll be a dynasty for a long time. And that's assuming Tilman and the FO don't screw up with LTS.
Man forgot about him. I actually think he is the most likely to be a superstar. As far as the money goes, you can go as far over the salary cap you want on guys al ready on the team, but only if the owner is ok with paying incredible luxury taxes like GSW.
Phoenix is almost at the luxury tax threshold with just four players, not even a full starting lineup. That's pretty insane. Four max extensions of rookie contracts wouldn't be as high.
