This argument may have been ok in 2015.. But nowadays, QBs are more adept to thrive off the jump .. I'd agree it's his first game and Tunsil didn't play ... yada yada yada... His own coach said he wants to see him command the offense efficiently.. The INT didn't matter.. Taking command means you can't be " surprised by the speed of the defense" ..

I know it's just 1 game and CJ's first game...etc etc....

But they should REALLY consider who they want starting as QB1.

Not saying it shouldn't be CJ but Mills looked pretty good out there. None of those drive stalls were on him.

I’m going to be really disappointed if stroud is a bust and Richardson turns out to be a star.

 

They should give Stroud another series after the half.

 

Mills got to play way longer and the line is holding up. Really silly to pull the plug that quickly. Obviously if Mills is still playing better by the last preseason game that might be a different story.
