Adams has a good point here that just dumping migrants into NYC is straining their resources. I also agree that border states shouldn't shoulder the whole burden. This is where a national policy is needed. The problem is that so many are just focussed on enforcement without addressing the reality. The federal government should be working with states throughout the country to settle immigrants and get them into our economy so they can be productive. We have 3.5% unemployment and there are still many many jobs unfilled. Many of those people just being dumped onto buses and sent to NYC, Chicago etc.. could be housed, working and paying taxes with better planning.

Shuttling them around, state to state satisfies the hate of the maga types but isn't a good solution to any problem. Nor are saw blades.
