I have plenty plenty of times. Dear Lord dude thanks for telling me you never actually read my posts. I get they can be long winded often. But damn at least read some of my stuff.

How many times have I said Green struggles in decision making when driving to the rim and choosing to pass out or finish? How many times have I said he is very poor at reading opposing offense when he's off ball leaving him out of place often? How many times have I said he needs to increase his strength so he doesn't get pushed around as much?

I like the way our whole core fits together within a movement-heavy offense like Udoka is expected to feature. Green, JaTari, and Cam project to be good enough shooters to cover for Amen and Sengun if they end up being a little below average as outside shooters (as long as they're good enough to keep defenders honest). Defensively, that's a long, athletic group to surround Sengun with, i.e. how Denver built around Jokic. Just a matter of maturation in defensive skills/fundamentals for all those guys. With Amen and Sengun there should always be a great playmaker on the floor as long as they're both healthy, so we shouldn't run into major dips when one or the other goes to the bench.

We will have to wait to see if that is still the case with the hesitation this year. I would assume Ime will give him the green light unlike Silas.

Was everyone on the floor huge? B/c Alpy looks like he shrunk, not grew. He did grow in girth, but his length is still lacking to truly penetrate larger men.

I think you're being a bit hyperbolic to make your point. Amen's form might look a bit stiff, but broken? It's not as broken as Lonzo or Marion's jumpers and both of them were competent shooters. Even before fixing his form Lonzo could shoot like Fox. And Fox had to work to get to this level. He was an awful shooter at UK. If Kidd and Rondo could learn how to shoot, I'm not going to write off Amen before he even plays his first game.

I'm not sure how effective a player like Kidd adjusts to the modern NBA

    Poland's starting C is 7'1, and Turkeys C is 7ft

Sengun is clearly like 6'9, Turkey plays him at PF, and it's hilarious to think about this forum/fanbase's excitement over his growth spurt was really just him wearing some air maxes with a bigger curly fro' in front of Eason.

Is there any reason Kidd's game wouldn't at least translate into a Ricky Rubio/Lonzo Ball/Josh Giddey type role? All have played in the modern NBA.

Also, that's beside the point. You're saying there is no way Amen can improve his jumper. It's literally that broken to the point where he can't improve like other guards have? You're ready to make that judgement already just based on his form. Because you didn't say he and Sengun are bad shooters at this moment, which is true. You said it would have to be one or the other when this team is eventually ready to contend years from now. That's a very strong presumption.

Giddey has a unique combo of height with playamking. If Kidd had some uniquely special features like length or elite athleticism and length like Amen then maybe.

Kidd was a remarkable athlete, a real threat at the rim during his 1st Dallas and Nets days, while defending at an elite level. Can't find anything on his wingspan but It's longer than Lonzo Ball's at 6'9". 6' 5" with a 6' 10" wingspan about matches James Harden, another of the most prolific playmakers of the era, both were built about the same too.

Man made the finals as the best player on the team twice.

This forum/fanbase DOES get excited about length and penetrating larger men, but @Caesar ’s point about girth should not be underestimated IMO

He definitely wasn't 6'5". Absolutely not. He also was merely a slightly above average athlete entering the league with good strength. Harden came into the league a better athlete and was significantly better shooter.

Who give a **** about his height as long as he is effective? If height is so dang important, then Dream should have sucked at center because he was never a true 7'. Moses Malone was 6'10" and Calvin murphy was less than 6' so both should have sucked. Barkley clearly should never have effectively played PF because he was not the prototype height. All of them were great players because they were great players. Sengun has all the makings of a great player especially when you consider he just turned old enough to buy a beer a couple of weeks ago.

I surely hope that this guy is echoing what his head coach told him.
