I doubt the Orioles will have a budget issue. I'd worry more about Angelos giving a directive that handicaps the team in some way like he did when the Orioles sat out signing international free agents because Angelos didn't like the corrupt middle men and the high bust rate of signing kids (though the ones that hit, more than make up for it).

I think he still is the majority owner even if his sons are running the team.

I'm assuming that's from some kiddie movie?

I was just wondering if yall were talking about old man Angelos or the Son....which is apparently an "apple not far from the tree" situation.

I think the father still owns the majority share. Don't know much on the son.

Dad (Peter) is about 100 years old and turned over controlling interest (President, shotcaller...but not family ownership) to his son a few years ago. Nothing much has changed, except they have a basket of young talent.

Picture Fertitta at 100 years old.

The Braves got s!!t done with young players while he was part of their process...he's only got a couple of years to figure this out with Tucker. People can either spazz about it or they can wait-and-see.

I guarantee you that when they traded those 2 outfield prospects, Brown told Crane we have to pay Tucker if you want Verlander. It is the ONLY way giving up those prospects make sense.

My Xfinity Stream app has the following choices at bottom of screen from left to right :

Home | Live TV | My Library | Browse

Live TV option looks EXACTLY like hitting GUIDE on your xfinity cable box/Flat panel TV. It has the Network Symbols & name, channel # and program name. All channels/Networks that u have on cable box live. You can record programs etc

AT&T SPORTSNET | MLB Baseball Houston Astros at Baltimore Orioles
    639

ESPN HD | Little League Baseball - New England Regional
    633

MY LIBRARY - has my dvr recordings, scheduled recordings.

like @Nick said this is at my home not away. I’ve not accessed away from home in a long time so I don’t remember the ‘away from home’ features/ functionality etc

Exactly. Kyle tucker was always under control for 2 more years. Those prospects (Gilbert esp) need to make their debut within the next 1+ years to be considered legit. Factor in McCormick’s breakout, and those guys are decidedly blocked from being everyday players till at least 2026.

Those guys were always expendable extensions or not.

Yeah, it is a complete and total unmitigated trash ass organization located in one of the biggest **** holes in America (but nice ballpark). As good as they are set up (and it's awesome- because they hired Luhnow's right hand) I have full confidence that inept ownership will turn it into less than what it should be. But what it will be will still be pretty good I think.

You kidding? This bbs loves to spazz. They worry about every prospect heading to NYC within 1 year of promotion.

I think he’s confused as to what is allowed when you’re in your own hose steaming vs out of house streaming
