Take it for what it’s worth but Baltimore now has 8 in MLBs top 100 list. They will be good for a long long time
why didnt the orioles deal for a big name pitcher. they got flaherty, but seems they could have done more with that farm
I would prefer not having to hit a grand slam in the 9th against the best closer in baseball to win against a starting pitcher with 6+ ERA. I'm tired of Baker not putting our best foot forward.
Honestly they are even better setup than we were, but less confidence in their ownership. They really should have moved for an ace. If they had, they would be favorites in the AL right now. Instead they are shopping in the bargain bin. Then getting Flaherty was like us getting Kazmir and Fiers in 2015. Solid pickups, but not good enough to get us to the next level.
I fairness, it was a rough luck night. Kyle Tuckers should be error cost us 2 runs and Yordan missed a 2 HR night by about a yard combined.
[ Grayson Rodriguez has been improving each month. He's not your standard 5+ ERA guy. He has Cy Young potential.
Wow - what a game - this is starting to get some feeling going......let's get the Rangers to tank.....too bad they have AC now. DD
whelp -,Dana Brown is officially on notice ! Kind of a dumb comment to make if still negotiating. Also - if he doesn’t deliver now then he should be let go. This is the kind of deal you have to stake your career on otherwise what good are you as an ineffectual front office person?
I just hope the Astros can keep using it too, unless they still are through underground dealings/consultations with Luhnow's baseball consulting business that is based in Htown. @Nook please confirm, or maybe I'll get my uncle to call Luhnow himself although Jeff won't say ****.
11th pick in the draft a few years ago, out of Nacodoches HS, was the ~#6 prospect in MLB coming into this season. Don't let the rookie ERA fool ya.
yup. the only thing stopping the orioles empire will most likely the ownership. let's see how they deal with winning, having to pay players and being good.
