Just now getting to the Tucker slam and it was incredible. Turned a bad night into a great one (pending the third out of the 9th, I haven't seen that yet).
He is just so physically gifted as a hitter and a baseball player. He is so nonchalant- and at times has his head in the clouds - but he constantly shows another layer or ability. Tucker is like Altuve and Berkman - he beats great pitching. He didn’t just hit a grand slam on the road to beat the best team in the AL - he did it against possibly the nastiest reliever in baseball on a pitch that was exactly where the pitcher wanted it.
Just a coincidence OR are the gloves making a difference for Tucker? He’s been wearing them for quite a while now…..
Terrible for his stats Framber's ERA has risen 7x his last 10 starts and has increased by 50% during that time.
How do you watch live? Except ESPN and Fox, my Xfinity app doesn't let me stream live, not even for TBS.
I found some good stuff on the Orioles forum. They were very complimentary and seem like classy fans. "TEX, TBR, meh - the Astros are the class of the league and until anybody Ric Flairs and beats the man, everybody in the league knows it." "Valdez is an elite pitcher who can turn it on like he did in his last start to pitch a no hitter, and I would not feel confident this lineup would bat him around in the playoffs." "The only thing that I don't like about it is that there is a good chance we face these guys in the ALCS. I do not want them to have any kind of mental edge on our bullpen. Hope we can at least win a couple against them with no more major meltdowns the rest of the way." "That darn Tucker kept fouling off Bautista's pitches until he got his pitch to hit. That was the sign of the end of the game."
That was an error. Tucker and Pena's defense this season has been pretty spotty. They should be complimentary, they hired our guy Elias and are following our roadmap to success to the letter.
If we win win the remaining series against each team we play, we will win 95 games. Is that enough to catch Rangers? Must take 2/3 against Rangers when we play them. One win against them gives us the tie breaker… and that could be huge.
Wow.......hell of a game, maybe the turning point to the season?? I was a nay sayer in the 9th and when he hit that bomb I was like oh sh** King Tuck needs to get paid, just go ahead and back up the money truck
And with as many talented guys as they have plugged in the last few years, the most talented by far is a 19 year old looming in AA. Wonder if they date call him all the way up to the majors this year? Jackson Holliday is far and away the best prospect in baseball. Over 1.000 OPS in his 14 games in AA so far.
What a game!! Reminded me of the Rockets Spurs game several years back where Tmac scored something like 10+ in last 30 seconds. Literally snatching victory out of defeat against a top team in the last minute. Just a regular season game but gives you enough to feel good about them
