That’s actually weird, Levis has outplayed Willis in camp significantly. Some reports of him having the best camp of any of the QBs. Still has ups and downs

When I saw this thread, I thought Is Will Levi’s one of our wide receivers lower on the depth chart.. lol

then I see it was a QB some folks wanted over Stroud.

this isn’t Fantasy football, the Texans have what they have and they have to roll with it. I liked Stroud from the beginning, maybe he works out maybe he doesn’t, but i sure hope he’s got some moxie!

lol trying to save face I see. Take draft position out of the equation, you think CJ Stroud would have lost out to Malik Willis in camp? No freaking way. Stroud >>>> Levis

Well, Mills has outplayed Stroud in camp and if it was a true competition it would be different.
Not sure why Vrabel is doing that but every report has said Levis has been arguably the best QB in their camp.
No saving face to it, I don’t care.

And no one knows who is better yet. Stroud is likely to bust, and it’s a much bigger hit to the Texans if/when he does

I couldnt care less. I dont keep up with the Titans, only the Texans. However, I was hoping the Titans would TITAN and release Malik Willis.

Everyone knew Willis was raw from the start but to draft another QB w/o giving him another yr, I thought was insulting. Sure the NFL is about production but the QB position is difficult.....Hopefully Willis remembers this if and or when he becomes their #1 QB and his contract is due.

Willis was wildly overrated by many here, really for one reason only.
Levis had far better tape than Willis and is physically superior in every way

Mills outplayed Stroud? According to who? Cherrypicked tweets? Majority of tweets say that Stroud has seized the starting role.

And I haven't been looking into what Titans camp has looked like, but given Levis lost out to Willis, then I'm led to believe that those reports that say Levis has been the best QB in their camp are nothing more than the typical training camp puff pieces that all players get rather than an indication of what's really going on.

Like the puff pieces for Stroud?

Most of the reports have said Mills has been more consistent and made some great throws. Stroud has had good consecutive days after having multiple bad days.

Be consistent, I know that’s something you Stroud fan boys can’t do

They're not puff pieces for Stroud because they have been validated by CJ actually beating out Mills.

They are puff pieces for Levis because he lost out to Willis and is now a 3rd stringer.

Sure thing. They’re puff pieces for one but not the other.
What’s more likely is Stroud was given a starting spot because of his draft position and Levis is going to truly have to earn it.
Stroud hasn’t objectively outperformed Mills. Sorry but he hasn’t. Now, Mills hasn’t necessarily outplayed him either so I think Stroud should start.
Levis numbers in camp are better than Willis, their beat writer keeps tabs on all 7v7 and 11v11. Better than Tannehill too

Um, Mills has not outplayed Stroud. Again, take your support for Mayo boy to Titansgo.com or whatever message board.

Where did you see that Mills has outplayed Stroud? I haven’t read that anywhere and I’ve tried to catch all angles of camp, haven’t seen that.

Mills outperformed Stroud? Lol. Haven’t heard one player vouch for Mills as a starter. Guy is a backup and it’s nothing wrong with that. Stroud is the franchise

I didn’t say Mills has outplayed him. I said he’s played more consistently and that Stroud hasn’t outplayed Mills.
It takes some reading, Harris is pretty impartial. Some of the sports radio guys. Some tweets.

I think Stroud should start, but he hasn’t earned it. Neck and neck with Mills isn’t winning a job. All of his camp mistakes were brushed away and his “wow” throws were glorified.
There were unbiased tweets saying Mills had some elite throws just like Stroud, you just didn’t get the over excited glorification

What are they supposed to say? The team used a high pick on him.
You fan boys have no objectivity at all.

And no, he’s not the franchise. He might get there. But he is nowhere near there yet. More than likely busts and/or leaves because of the culture he has representing him

From Post # 725 above and I quote, "Well, Mills has outplayed Stroud in camp..." - cmoak1982

And I'd be interested in seeing any reports that Mills has outplayed Stroud other than a day here or there. I haven't read a single report that has Mills outplaying Stroud overall. I'm serious...if that's the real story, I'd like to see it being reported.

    That was a mistake/mid-wording.
Mills has been more consistent, there were a few tweets about who “won” the individual day and it was a wash. Up until Stroud had back to back really bad days, and then for some reason ran with the 1s from there on out.
You have to read to see the breakdowns, no one wants to prop up Mills in spite of Stroud but in no way has Stroud outplayed Mills in camp.
Like I said before, if they’re neck and neck let Stroud play. The team tied themselves to that anchor
