Framber day is the day to run him out there if he's only gonna play once a series. LF didn't even field a ball in Frambers no no. I don't agree with not starting Chaz in CF, but Yordan in LF is the way to go today.
There's a despicable chain reaction of having Maldo in the lineup. Diaz C Yordan DH Chas LF Dusty would rather miss the playoffs with Maldy, than win a championship with Diaz
Baker was on 790 today and made the point three times to say how "hard it was to send Julks back down"
So tomorrow, Dubon in CF and Chas in LF. Maybe Singleton at 1B. The series finale which I won't be able to see looks primed for the Astros Death Lineup of Altuve, Bregman, Alvarez, Diaz, Tucker, Abreu, Chas, Meyers, and Pena.
I would have Chas in LF. Let Yordan DH and let Diaz catch. Yordan in LF? Good luck. Assuming Chas isn't unavailable.
Dangerous stretch of games. Rangers have a cakewalk; Astros have a mountain to climb. Will be hard to keep from losing ground. And Seattle is creeping up from behind. I suspect the players know the situation.
Just annoying that he didn’t start in LF in either of the 2 Framber starts at MMP. Understandably, one was the first game after coming back… but Framber+MMP should be even more of an automatic fielding day for him. And Yankee stadium LF isn’t a cakewalk either. I just don’t want him doing something stupid in the field I guess.
Maldonado rushes out from the bus stop to push him out of the way. It's ok just another passed ball... Um I meant past bus
Chas is nailed to the cross to absolve us of all our sins. Christ figure. Which is what replaces the scape goat from OT times/judaism. I like iconography of Chas suffering for all of us. I'm not sure why Chas must suffer, but someday, maybe tomorrow, he will rise from the bench and make a big play. Unfortunately Diaz will have taken his spot on the bench. Sad.
In fairness he did not say the bus hit him. Only he stepped in front of one. Could have been stopped to pick up passengers.
Me neither, but sacrifices have to be made to get him and Diaz in the lineup. ...if only there were a way to get them both in there and have an extremely good defensive outfield, one can dream.
Come on Tom, if your are hoping go all in, hope for a sweep. If your are afraid then you fear they might only win one. Have no fear the boys got this series.
3-0 would be unexpected and likely mark the beginning of a big streak 2-1 would be a very good series and what I'm expecting 1-2 would not be a surprise, but a big let down 0-3 would be a disaster (with Rangers up against the A's)
