Orioles are definitely a good team. But they may be peaking a tad too early. Now for the series this week, that is ominous, but for the playoffs it may be good news.

Probably out for most if not all regular season. He could easily be back by the playoffs.

I'm a longtime member in a forum filled with Spankees fans, many said they almost stoled the Sunday game. They laughed that we gave up 12 walks mainly by an home plate umpire that favored the Spankees. A.Boone would of been kicked out if his pitchers gave up that many walks from an ump that seems to be calling his game than a fair and balanced game. Why Dusty, why not speak up and talk to ump?!!?!?!?!?

Yeah, all the sweep did was balance the garbage that happened @CLE.

Right now the biggest difference in the standings is Dusty's obsession with Maldonado. He is Arlington's MVP. And there's no end in sight until he stops wearing a Houston uniform -- he meaning Maldy or Dusty.

it's not his thing. his whole career as a manager here in houston, i think he might have been ejected once. doesn't argue. doesn't get rile up. doesn't defend his players.

if anything, the assistants might have been ejected more than him. i was surprised no one was ejected because this coaching staff is pretty vocal.

Yeah. I wished once every blue moon that Dusty would stand up for his pitchers and batters when calls are bad.

Yeah the Orioles did get Flaherty at least. Reds fans have to be so pissed right now. How they didn't get a starter is beyond me. Since the deadline the starting pitching has hit an all time low for the season.

Exactly my thinking. JV game should have been a slam dunk.

I guess Bregman will forever be a .250 hitter with a solid eye. Hit 20 home runs, solid defense.

solid player for a team but not the player we dreamed of after 2019 break out.

Makes it easier to resign him

All I know is, France deserves to continue to be a starter. Don't **** with one of the best SP we have so far.

It's been stated a dozen times, but because people seem to struggle with the concept we'll say it again.

France already is at a career high in innings pitched, and we still have 1/3 of the season left. Pulling him out of the regular rotation is about protecting him and keeping him available for the full season (and hopefully October), not about his performance.

We could go ahead and just run him into the ground, or we could try to actually utilize our new pitching depth to keep guys fresh.

The 6th man rotation is the way forward. They've been wanting that but never even had 4 healthy guys this year.

Those monster 2018/2019 years were never the expectation. He's playing a lot closer to scouting hype.

Where's the ump report card for that disgrace that called the game behind the plate yesterday?

It was the expectation after he had them for 2 years. Part of the reason we gave him what we did in his extension. For someone has an amazing eye that seldom swings at bad pitches, he has a pretty poor batting average and hard hit rate.

Imagine if Diaz had that eye and discipline.
