You would think we’re top of the division by like 15 games the way Dusty is constructing the lineup and shuffling of the batting order, giving the wrong guys more at-bats and limiting the ones who are actually doing well. So frustrating.
I would rather wait another 6 days before bringing back Urquidy. Who knows thought. They'll probably give Urquidy run support with 9 runs.
So Maldy is now the personal catcher for Urquidy, Javier, Valdez, and Verlander. Yesterday when Brian McTaggart asked if Dubon in CF was at the request of Verlander he got mad and said he's the manager and makes the lineup, not the players. But also Dusty..."Well the pitchers request Maldonado so what am I supposed to do??"
Except he’s not been as good at that as you know, catching. And, why PH for Maldy. the awesome thing is there is some excuse or reason or another every day to not play Diaz. It’s how maldonado ends up catching 125 games at the age of 37 and while being terrible.
