    I actually don't mind babying France a little bit, although Javier seems a better candidate. The entire staff needs load management. Most of them have thrown more innings than any point in their careers these past 1-2 years.

    The plan for France should be multi-inning games twice every turn. Javier shouldn't be throwing more than 90 pitches in any start.

    Yordan didn’t get a chance to knock in Altuve in the 1st.

    He had to lead off the 2nd.

    In a tight game, he didn’t get to bat in the 8th or 9th inning.

    The Yankees got to face Pena more than Yordan today.

    also not pinch hitting for Maldy in the 8th. Damn.

    And the fact that Dusty can't be trusted to make a reasonable lineup in the playoffs is the reason he should be gone after this year.

    I think I'm about 4 "Dusty Baker sabotage" games away from actively pulling for the Astros to miss the playoffs so he's definitely gone next season so we can have a chance of winning then

    Funny. Do you really want to get close enough to find out? Dusty is a good ole guy, knows baseball, but has a tendency to get attached to certain players regardless of their skill level. Objectivity is not as common as most think.
