This only applies to retroactive criticism. Everyone here pointed out it was a great lineup before the game yesterday- and it played out. And we all pointed out it was a crap lineup today - and it played out. This isn’t luck or second guessing - it’s bad decision making by the manager. And yes the 1-5 take blame. But playing a horrible 7-9 and putting a horrible batter 2nd lessons the odds of overcoming poor hitting by the stars. The managers’ job is to increase the odds of winning. He isn’t doing that.
