So basically MTG is putting those people in more legal jeopardy by daring the DoJ and GA Ag to go after them.

GA mugshot t-shirts should be hot sellers from both sides of the aisle.

Former President Donald Trump would be treated like anyone else if he is charged in Georgia, Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat declared on Tuesday.

"Unless someone tells me differently, we are following our normal practices," Labat told reporters. "It doesn't matter your status, we have mugshots ready for you."

To be honest, this case needs to go to the back of the line....................J6 trial needs to be first and foremost, America deserves to know how this plays out. You cannot have an election if the main player of the gop is being tried on such serious charges, its literally a race to the elections.

I think a lot of people need to accept he will be on the ballot. There's no law (sadly) forbidding it, and the GOP primary voters (and Fox News viewers if those aren't identical) only commit themselves to him more strongly with each indictment. Period.

He's going to be on the ballot, sadly for our country. If he loses and we survive the election, he may well go to jail, or at least be on trial for the rest of his (SAD!) life. If he wins and we survive the election, chaos will ensue and he will really try to consolidate executive power in a way we've never seen, wiping his legal slate clean by fiat and then pursuing his enemies (which, if an "enemy" is anyone willing to call out his illegal behavior, then a huge legion of people). Gym Jordan, MTG, and other pranksters are already putting all their chips on this bet.

The more likely he is the nominee, the more likely the GOP loses. Bigly.

If the 1000+ already convicted for 1/6 isn't enough to deter violence, arrest and convict a few thousand more.

On the one hand, I agree. The volume of cases against him ends up interfering with the conduct of his campaign, even if that's not the purpose. I'm a bit inclined to say we should defer the others until this most important one is sorted out.

On the other hand, voters deserve to have all the information. And that info includes all his many crimes. Besides that, at some point in the not distant future, he will die and cannot be prosecuted. That's a case of justice delayed being justice denied. We need a vetting.

Agreed... and don't the GA indictments involve what's being covered in this indictment?

Trump is running for office to avoid being charged. He knew he was being investigated before he said he was running. He knew the possibility was real that the truth would come out. He was hoping to use his campaign to put off being charged, and save his sorry ass until he got in power. ELECTION INTERFERENCE is a BS cry to try and claim his corrupt ass as a victim, even though any American would be indicted for the same crimes.

You are right to be worried. At this point I'm cautiously optimistic that Biden will win but Trump winning is very much a possibility.

A Trump victory after all the indictments and J6 will be much worse than the first Trump term. My own feeling though is at this point in 2025 we'll be looking back to a Trump loss and a major shakeup in the GOP.

Yes, but he can't get pardoned federally for state charges, so it's a good idea to charge him at the state level. It's the reason his lawyers tried to move the NY charges to a federal case.
