Exactly this. The minute USCLA left they should've just gone for SDSU/Boise State/SMU/New Mexico or something of that nature. Just like the Big 12 did. Imagine a few years later the Big 12, the very conference you thumbed your nose at, is now *taking* Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Arizona State from you. Even *better* is that now they can negotiate with Az State/Utah from a position of power. They don't even need to extend them an invite because only Arizona carries any weight. They were arrogant when they were told to add B12 schools. They were arrogant when they lost USC. They were arrogant when they put their stupid HQ in San Francisco. It's almost unfathomable that this happened. It's like the Atlanta Falcons choking that lead in the Super Bowl in conference realignment form.
