Unlike the GOP House Twitter account, a grand jury and 86 republican witnesses with direct knowledge of the events think Trump did something wrong.

Will be interesting (kind of?) to see if they can keep their rank and file in line over this coming trial, with people like Pence and Barr undercutting them. I mean... I'm sure their main Twitter account staff person can maintain a consistent message and tone, but individuals will individual at some point, one would think?

 

The average person wouldn't get away with this. Time for Jack to issue a gag order and lock Trump up if he violated it.

 

Trump cannot stop saying or posting things incriminating. This is why so many top lawyers won't work for him.

I really hope ivanka and kushner are forced to testify at trial against trump. I bet he acknowledged he lost the election in front of them. Hopefully they both cut deal and help to bury him. It would devastate trump if ivanka turned on him. I mean, he would still want to bang her, but still.

The defense has to show predicate to introduce evidence. If the defense wants to show evidence wrt what Trump thought, they first have to put Trump in the stand.

 

So those questions would really put Trump on the spot. He won't admit he lied, and would never admit he is unable to cognitively tell the difference between facts and evidence vs lies and conspiracy theories. He would commit perjury. He has to act like the genius and Patriot he claims he is. As always, he will blame everyone else. I'd like to see his response to being a proven habitual liar and defend his false claims. LOL

 

I would expect very very expensive bad sex.

 

Nobody on the right would have ever called a certain former president a thug if he said “come after me I’ll come after you!”

There are moderate GOP House districts that will be put in a pretty awkward position.

 

Trump is making a mockery of it all. He feels invincible at this point. He knows he won't be put in jail before the trial. He will just gallivant around the country spurting lies, inciting violence, making himself out as some poor innocent Patriot, and collecting money at every MAGA town around the country.
