Harris/ To'o To'o / Perryman with Kirksey subbing all 3 when needed, plus Cashman improving. It's a formidable linebacking core.
K. Green's lack of progress is a little worrisome. Hopefully, he gets his sh_t together and comes on strong, if not we need a stable influence at LG next to our rookie C. Stroud's INTs don't bother me, that's what training camp is for. I'm OK with Coach Ryans stretching the competition out until CJ or Davis take it. If neither clearly distinguishes themselves then it will be interesting to see who they chose. While it makes sense to start CJ and get him max reps to develop, I could see them starting Mills and letting CJ come in when Mills stumbles or gets hurt. I think the former is likely decision. Very encouraged by all of the defensive praise. To'o To'o and Harris sound like they could be mainstays, and Mr. Anderson is hopefully going to be a wrecking ball. What I haven't heard is how any of the other DEs (except Jerry Hughes) have been doing. Maybe I've missed some reporting, but was hoping some other guys would step up. Secondary sounds like they're going to be solid to potential very good.
CJ again with the first team today. Looks like he is the starter which is not some out of ordinary news. Pretty clear when they give him a 30 million signing bonus and draft him 2 overall that he is pretty much a lock.
