I have a feeling Mark Meadows is a witness among others and they will add Cassidy H to show that he knew he lost, he then listened to crack pots like Eastman while every other lawyer told them what they were trying to do was not legal. The litigated over 60 cases and they lost them all, throw in the fake electors and then Pence refuting the "pause" argument (which is assinine) and it builds a case of his intent after he knew he lost. YOu can lie all ya want but when you put the lie into action you have causation.

For anyone who still says ... "but did Trump really know know that he lost?" ... I salute you for your commitment to alternative "facts".

One could make an argument that Trump has really bad hearing or listening comprehension ... or ... that Trump narcissistic personality disorder led him astray ... or ... that Trump is not smart enough to figure out that he lost ... or ... that god anointed Trump his Chosen One but made him lose since god has a devilish sense of humor* ... or ... whatever floats your boat.

A- Trump is too stupid to realize he didn't lose. WTF is America considering such a person for the POTUS?

You are right for sure because in the end Trump and his inner circle know that in the end their only hope is political. He has to win the election in 2024 so he can either pardon himself or just have the AG waive the charges.

So it is about public opinion more than it is about the actual case in a vacuum. They aren't even trying to win this case in court when you have the defendant's lawyer going on TV and flat out admitting that his client committed the crime.

 

I think it would really get under Trump's skin if Jack Smith asked a few of these questions if his defense lawyer started his "Trump believed he won defense."

Whether Trump is delusional or not it doesn't really matter. All this discussion about his state of mind, free speech, intent is addressed early on in the indictment. It is about actions he took and not speech.
