The fact is the laptop repair man first gave the laptop to Rudy Guiliani before it was ever then given to authorities. It's the repair guy's fault that we are in a position of having to doubt that the laptop was tampered with. Does knowing the FBI had it long before a copy was given to Giuliani change your view of it? The FBI has not said that anything on their copy is different than what was provided to Giuliani or released publicly.

That's hardly evidence that the laptop repair man went only to authorities, gave them the evidence first, and the evidence was only shared by authorities. The original hard drive was collected by the FBI in 2019 pursuant to a subpoena and they provided a receipt to John Paul Mac Isaac. He provided a copy of the drive to Rudy Guiliani's lawyer in September 2020. The FBI has the original and has not said any of the alleged messages are fake. There is evidence that what Guiliani turned over to the NY Post and the Delaware field office of the FBI had been accessed and possibly organized into different file folders.
