And yet that's EXACTLY who is on the Team USA practice squad.... If those guys are the next generation of team USA, that's pretty tragic news for the future of Team USA. You aren't making a "Dream Team" out of the caliber of players on their practice squad.
Quentin Grimes, Herb Jones, Trey Murphy, Keegan Murray, Jalen Williams, Naz Reid, Peyton Pritchard, Galloway, Jenkins, Mika…. That’s not a list of players who need image rehab. It’s just a bunch of young promising players. Whether you think they will be good for our future main team or not is irrelevant to the topic of why Green was selected and KPJ was not. Point blank. The reasons Green is on the roster and KPJ is not has absolutely nothing to do with what you claim. A more believable load of **** would have been to claim they asked/begged KPJ and he declined.
Should be good for all of these players. There's a reason players get a "All Star Game" buff after it's done. Being around greatness rubs off on you. Glad Jalen is doing this. Hopefully Bari, Amen and Cam are doing this in the next few years as well.
Bobby is the classic example of delusional. Instead of accepting that he's wrong, he goes off and makes wild reasons (such as Team USA is on some sort of player rehab mission) for why he's still right.

They did though... Jalen has 2 years of poor performances he'd like people to forget about. Cade has both injury and poor performance he'd like people to forget about. Chet hasn't played yet due to injury and he'd like people to forget about that. Notice how none of the quality young players decided to join Team USA's practice squad.... It's not that they wouldn't want the best young talent, it's that the best young talent wouldn't waste their time being on a practice squad.
I imagine they bring in guys they feel have good images. Not gonna bring in head cases. It is USA Basketball no? Funny that once again, you find a way to hate on everything. We've got a young player that was asked to join the team representing the US and you spit your ish. Funny F.
They take the best of whoever is desperate enough to get some visibility that they are willing to be on a practice squad. The actual quality players are too good for that.
Even when Jalen green gets selected to help strengthen our country for international competition, booby needs to spin it in a way to sht on the man. The hate for Jalen green runs deep
Don't know about hate, but he's right. If USA needs Green, Chet an Cade to "strengthen" itself, Id be worried about this World Cup
Sure, but that's why none of them are on the real team, they are just the practice scrubs the real team get to beat up on to prepare for the games that matter. You had some guys that needed some PR due to either underperformance, injury, or both, so they signed up to a practice squad. It's barely even noteworthy... but then you have the cult.
Did you flip your one track mind and add on the fact that the so called real team are scrubs compared to past real USA teams? And if you are preparing yourself to go against the best of the other countries, wouldn't it be wise to get the best young talent to prepare and not scrubs? Unless you agree the real team are scrub-esque(outside a few), then nevermind, scrubs vs scrubs So that would leave us with another 3 stoogies vs beavis n butthead battle At least you are consistent
