Nothing personal, but I made it through about 3 minutes until it reminded me that I hate vroom vroom car stuff
On a scale of 1 bus stop Salvy ********er for hire to 10 wokeass Salvy's getting pounded but denying he likes it... This is a solid 5. Salvy just don't know which way to go. He's a very confused person.
I only watched 1 episode so don't take my opinion, but the first three minutes were the worst for car stuff. Past those 3 minutes it was a funny interesting premise. Finish the episode, if you still hate it then give it up imo.
It was OK. Some enjoyable stuff but also a little bit of a slog at times. I enjoyed Anthony Mackie and the Will Arnett/Samoa Joe combo as Sweet Tooth. Less so Stephanie Beatriz's character. 6/10 I never played Twisted Metal so I tried looking up the storyline of the games and it turned out there wasn't much of one, so the plot was mostly created just for the show and serves to set up the tournament from the games in a potential Season 2.
Nothing wrong with that, not every show is for everyone. I thought the humor might catch you but I was wrong, so sorry about that.
Watched the first three episodes yesterday, tone is all over the place but it's kind of fun. I'll probably watch the whole thing to see where it goes....
the tone and shift of the show kinda reminds me of those old fox shows in the 90s like Parker Lewis Can’t Lose or a County Brisco.
Yeah its all over the place tonally, it can be a little jarring at times. We finished it up this week and it's mindless fun, I do appreciate the amount of world building they did even though a lot of it doesn't makes sense. I'd check out another season.....
