You gotta give vivek credit where it belongs. He has the most batshit people worshipping him on the right. The guy has 0 chance to win yet he's made a name for himself by fooling dumbass MAGA voters. Credit where it's due.

He knew his audience is dumb as **** and he gave them what they wanted. Kudos @AroundTheWorld

What's going on in the conservative media about the Nashville shooter's manifesto? I don't recall instances of authorities releasing mass shooters' manifestos for public consumption if the shooter didn't do it themselves.

I also think there's a compelling argument to not release any information about shooters' beliefs so as to not give their ideas oxygen.

I can't speak for conservative media, but Vivek details multiple examples where the manifesti were released. in this particular case it hasn't been, which appears to be an exception. one suspects why.

I can't watch at the moment; were the previous manifestos released first by the shooter online or after the fact by law enforcement?

The pessimist in me believes that he is only doing this because the shooter was transgender. I have no clue why he would pick this random cause other than that fact..................call me silly, but I don't get it. As Basso stated he does speak well, but he is on the conspiracy train on just about everything,

I listened to the clip and it seems like there are some distinctions that should be made:
I think Ramaswamy is mischaracterizing all of these circumstances when he says that they were released "within 48 hours of the tragedy". The vast majority of these shooters seem to have posted their screeds online before committing the shooting which led the media to report on the details. Maybe he means that law enforcement confirmed or summarized those posts within 48 hours? Either way, it's a mischaracterization to use these as examples of transparency in contrast to the Nashville shooting. Nashville PD released the body cam footage of killing the shooter quickly and without hesitation which is all she deserved.

He also says "We have to learn from tragedy to prevent it in the future" as a justification for releasing the Nashville shooter's manifesto. How about we not do that, never report her name, and let her die in total anonymity. The publication of manifestos, especially in the way I outline above, has become almost de rigueur among these rotten murderers because they know their beliefs will be discussed in the public arena. How about we ignore them and actually learn from the mistakes we keep making instead of continuing to give these monsters air time?

Some mass killers have pointed to the writings of other mass killers as inspirations. I see no benefit and actual harm in police facilitating the distribution of killers' manifestos. Vek is pro-killer.

Things like the name and manifestos of mass shooters are facts of the case. I understand that publicizing those can influence others to possibly become mass shooters but I think suppressing those could lead to other problems. Given how much suspicioun there is of media and calls of "CENSORSHIP!" I think not releasing that information could feed into conspiratorial thinking and those who are included to be suspicious will start create their own narratives.

I had a slight hope for this guy when I first heard about him, but he is so conspiracy driven, that it's a turn off, not everyone, but so many of the gop these days scream conspiracy if they don't get the desired outcome they want, they end up playing the victim card. Plus, I can't get over how he condemned trump right after J6 and like so many extremists he is now trying to kiss the ring of the cult leader, they had a spine and then immediately lost said spine. Glad he has a ton of money so he can hang around for a while, but he will end up the same fate as Pence, Hailey, Scott and the rest of the group, bow out, give it to trump so you can stop pussyfooting around. trump needs the cash and then they can all cozy up and start lining up for a job in the trump admin..............you don't want to make him to mad cause then ya wont get in on the grift. Please, Please, Please follow him off the proverbial cliff.
