For anyone overly critical of his potential I would just have to say what do you see that the players don't...

There is a lot of wishful and optimistic thinking around here but one thing that is certain is his passing. He would easily crack 5 assists last year if we didn’t have silas, kpj as pg and nix as back up pg, I mean something that resembles an nba team.

    This matches the eye test.

FVV, Brooks/Amen/JG, Tari, Bari, Alpi might be our strongest lineup.

These two are also two of the best offensive rebounders in the entire NBA.

Did you even watch any games? Sengun was the best player on the team by a long shot. Nobody is making excuses for him. What we are saying is he would have been better given more minutes and having the offense run through him.

This type of stat is pretty meaningless. For context, Jokic/Murray last year was +11.4, Jokic/MPJ was +14.9. Jokic on the floor in general, the Nuggets were +12.0. I mean it's good that Eason and Sengun both were positives on an otherwise bleak team last year, but they have ways to go before the team is even in the same conversation as the Nuggets.

No he wasn't, by a longshot lol. The only time Sengun may have been the best player is when everyone was out with injuries. No scouting report on the Rockets has defensive schemes around stopping Alperen Sengun lol. Jalen Green is our best player. He is the guy other teams put their best defender on & make the focal point of defending us

Baby steps my brother! You build on the positives and start to transition away from the negatives!

This season we will truly see what we have now that the tank mandate is in our rear view mirror!!

Look man I get you really don't think Sengun is any good but this is just not true at all. It's actually one of the biggest criticisms of Sengun that I've seen from those who dislike him, they say he's too easy to neutralize. Other teams were very clearly scheming to stop Sengun. He got double teamed frequently the second he touched the ball. Coaches were also making mid game adjustments because he was flopping and getting everyone in foul trouble.

There were multiple interviews with opposing players and teams that said they had to gameplan for Alp

No. Sengun never saw the amount of double & triple teams Green has. Sengun's best performances last year were games we sucked in. Our best games are when Jalen Green plays well. It's clear who our best player was
