I honestly thought Framber was going to implode in the 5th. I think there was a leadoff walk. lol Every time I looked up it seemed like it was a grounder to Pena or Altuve.
What a machine! The Fram-bot! If only the strangers had lost and we could have taken the division lead with a no-no this would have been a perfect night!
What a 24 hours for the Astros starting rotation. A day ago, JP France looks like the best starter in the rotation, we still don't know whether we're going to get a dominant Framber or Javier back, and Brown is saying the Astros may not be looking at starting pitching. Now JV makes his return and Framber throws a no-no in a six-hour timespan. Anyone still thinking "this just isn't the Astros year?"
Congratulations Framber! What a great performance on the mound, and in doing what no other left handed pitcher has done in Astros history.
SUPER day....Verlander, Framber and throw in a SUPER moon for good measure. What do the ASTROlogical charts say going forward ?
First left hander to do it in Astros history. Our last no hitter was JV back in 2019. And to do it on the day he returns to the team... You couldn't have scripted this any better.
