Following the poster premiere last week, Marvel Studios has now unveiled the first trailer for the second season of the “Loki” series ahead of the show’s return on Disney+ on October 6th. The new run picks up in the aftermath of the first season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose. The new season sees the return of Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15. In addition, Ke Huy Quan, Rafael Casal and Kate Dickie are also set to appear, whilst Jonathan Majors will appear in multiple episodes as Kang variants. The new season also hails from head writer and executive producer Eric Martin and is directed by “Moon Knight” helmers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. They replace head writer Michael Waldron and director Kate Herron from the first season, with both still remaining on the second season as producers. The first season remains the most viewed of the various Marvel Studios shows and one of its best-received. https://www.darkhorizons.com/first-trailer-loki-season-2
You know the MCU is at a low point when I don't create these threads. Looking forward to it, Loki is by far the best MCU show so far.
Hoping it will wash away the experience of Secret Invasion. Loki has clearly been the best of the 9!!!! MCU streaming shows (with another 10 in production or in development).
I liked season 1 until the end. Tying it into the larger marvel verse lost me. Not something I follow so less of a payoff for me
I know this is a spicy take, but I thought Loki season 1 was pretty boring. This LOOKS good but I expect it to be boring and a lot of talking again. Also these Disney plus shows dont really mean anything in the grand scheme. I dont even know what we watch for anymore. I remember when we watched season 1 we all thought this was a huge moment for Marvel - since then it has been an absolute mess. when this ends I bet we will be even more confused. the multiverse was a mistake.
so i read that kang doesn't even have any super powers. he's just smart like tony stark and can build stuff. loki first season was ok. it need more righteous speeches like in blek falcon. when will we finally get the team up with these b-track avengers and the exciting eternals. i think by the time it finally rolls out, i'd be graduating high school and no one gives a flying rat's fukk about the avengers anymore. marvel silas'd phased 4.
Liked the first one, but it started to swing in the wrong direction near the end with the girlfriend and the mysterio cloud. But overall solid. The universe was interesting.
it seems they make everyone smart in the mcu, so that novelty has worn off. but i guess having an army of thousands of super smart kangs is different. imagine fighting 3,000 tony starks.
From Marvel? should have kept it simple. They got greedy and now they have no idea what they are doing. These last couple movies and series after Thanos was defeated should have taken place in those years during the snap we haven't seen It really could have stalled for time and they could have got their continuity in check. they really could have done anything during the snap. wasted opportunity.
They could've did that with black widow or show how she met the archer dude. Hell I don't even remember when that movie takes place anymore
