Would the big 12 want Utah or Arizona St?

Both. It was always about the 4 corners schools.

    Probably AZ state.

BYU already has you in Utah.

    I think that’s accurate

I haven’t looked at the numbers or anything, but Utah seems to have a pretty big following. Utah gear is all over the place out west, hell they sell it at our Targets in Colorado. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a BYU fan. Maybe they’re more spread out. Not saying they are a better option than AZ State, but I think they would have been better than BYU

This is very similar to what a lot of PAC insiders are reporting.

Whether MHver3 is just re-packaging what they're saying for clout or independently corroborating the story is hard to say.

The trust hierarchy for me goes something like this:

    Full-time reporters with major publications
Flex reporters with regional or team specific pubs/orgs
    Random unaffiliated jagoffs on Twitter

Think he broke some details before some of the so-called insiders. He’s also broken other news in the past so we’ll see.

I’m any case, hard to imagine member schools being very happy about this deal which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

The reason I don't trust MH is that he has made like hundreds of predictions and declarations.

Folks with real sources and a reputation they care about don't do that.

Where do random unaffiliated jagoffs on the bbs fit into your trust tree?

And if the conference had twins they'd probably be 2-Pac's.....

Wonder what the delta is between what Oregon / Washington would get in the Big 10 (assuming it’s not a full share, per that last tweet from Rittenberg) and what they’d get in the Big 12. If it’s close, I’m certain they’d go Big 10, and who could blame them. But I’d be curious to know the gap.

    Also this:

FSU can b**** all they want, it ain't gonna help. They are stuck until 2037 just like everyone else. They better work their asses off to not fall behind too bad until the contract expires.

As for the PAC, can we please just end this? The B1G being all coy after ripping their heart out is just obnoxious. After thinking on it a bit, I don't really want an Oregon/Wash rental in the Big 12 tbh.

My friend who knows a lot more about stuff before it happens than I do can’t stop laughing about the B1G trying to pretend that they “don’t wanna be the bad guy” in this.

Oh for sure. Nobody thinks the B1G or the SEC are innocent in any of this. This whole "we don't want blood on our hands" crap is just insufferable.

What's also annoying is Arizona not wanting to "go it alone" or "end the PAC" . Dude, 3 of your conferencemates just bailed in the last year, including 40% of your media share. You are far from alone.

That’s the crux of the problem isn’t it? There’s really not a whole lot they can do about it in the current model.

But my guess is that they’ll find a way out before 2037. There will be a hefty price but something is bound to happen before then.
