That ball didn't look tipped - nobody was near it that I could see. It looked like he was throwing a frozen turkey. Maybe he just lost his grip.

He threw 1 in OTAs and then 2 yesterday for a total of 3. There’s a pretty good video of the int to Stingley and it’s hard to say it was tipped. Looks more like the ball slipped probably when he was throwing it, but even if it hadn’t, it looks like it might have been intercepted anyway. It was a poor decision and honestly a route that I hope we don’t use too often because the risk of a pick 6 is very high for such a small gain.

Just weird seeing it from him. He throws a beautiful ball. Wonder if there’s an adjustment in ball size

Pancakes does not need air conditioning, he needs a personal trainer, and staples for his stomach.

Naw, mother f'er. It's not eye opening. It's Area 51. Enter at your own risk.

Bobby Slowik brought up a good point. Ohio State is mild to cold weather. The ball can just be much more slick with sweat especially after the center has ran consecutive run plays in a row. This likely explains some of the fluttery balls that we’ve seen from CJ, especially the int yeaterday. It’s good practice because now CJ and the centers that are also not used to this hot weather can work on keeping their hands as dry as possible in between plays.

    https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...ans-tight-end-dalton-keene-signs-18271872.php

The Texans have signed tight end Dalton Keene.

The move arrives after the franchise’s depth at tight end took a hit when Dalton Schultz and Brevin Jordan both exited practice Sunday with injuries. Teagan Quitoriano has been sidelined during training camp on the physically unable to perform list, which left the Texans with just three healthy tight ends under contract.

Keene, 24, was a third-round selection by the Patriots in 2020 and played six games as a rookie with three catches for 16 yards. He’s since spent two seasons on the practice squad with the Eagles and Broncos.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Schultz will “be fine” after colliding with safety Jimmie Ward on Sunday. Ryans did not give a timeline for his return. But Keene will give the Texans depth during practice and the preseason while Schultz recovers.

The Texans also signed former Arkansas kicker Jake Bates. He transferred from Texas State to Arkansas in 2022, and he was voted first-team All-SEC and led the nation with an 85.3 percent touchback percentage.

You know who’s had a great training camp so far?

The guy no one wanted here.
Still, it’s training camp. Rather get the mistakes out now

That would explain a lot. He doesn’t have small hands. Gotta keep some rosin bags handy
