It was bases loaded and 2 outs. Then they took out Perez and the bullpen pitcher got the final out on a strikeout.

The lineup we ran out there today was absolutely filthy, and it performed accordingly. A lineup with Pena and Meyers as your worst hitters, both of whom bring excellent defensive range to make up for their meh productivity.

Absolutely no reason Diaz shouldn't start at least half the games at catcher right now. Brown yet again getting good results throwing to him.

this lineup and split myers and Julks when Yordan DH’s. Myers had a nice game today . Doobie could DH some when Yordan is in left too

Rangers announcers have the audacity to claim that it sucks going to games in San Diego because there is “more traffic downtown after”…. Compared to their globe life field which is “pretty easy and convenient to get in and out of… if you ask me…”

I just hate everything about them I suppose…

Dubon, Julks… now have lower OPS than anybody else in the lineup today. They don’t need to start. They’re prepared to start if needed given all the playing time they’ve gotten (which I guess is a good thing if you can still win the division), but they’re bench guys.

It's a different team with Diaz behind the plate. Time for Maldy to step aside.

It’s the better lineup… both offensively and defensively.

Assuming Julks doesn't go crazy, yes. You know he will bring elite defense. Chas, Meyers, and Tucker have to be one of the top defensive outfield in the league and probably top 5 offensively as a group.

Do you think it is too much to ask that every game from now on be just like this one?

If Dubon is starting it should be at 2nd with Altuve DHing. Aside from today's lineup, Altuve DH, Yordan LF, Dubon 2B is probably our best 2 way lineup.

Julks can still get his occasional start but realistically I think Meyers and Dubon should be splitting most of the 9th man reps when Diaz catches.

I haven’t been following the Padres much but what happened to them this season ? Get Tatis back and they have that killer lineup and are probably sellers at the deadline ?! It does make me appreciate how fugking awesome the Astros have been the last 8 years

    Abysmal luck,

Their projected record this season is 58-46, but they've gone 6-17 in one run games.

Now they just completely whiffed on Josh Hader’s history… “He actually went to the Astros as part of the Mike Fiers trade… and then they traded him to the Brewers for some reason…”

And the other guy started laughing… “huh, didn’t know that…”

    They’re just so bad.
