Conservatives power brokers have successfully created a false reality to sell and keep the idiots in the echo chamber.

I hate to claim this POS as a Texan, but to be honest I tuned him out long ago, to me all I hear are the lies so it's a waste of time to even listen to him.................cause if I had to listen to him and his posse for too long, I would go absolutely bonkers, but look at the folks he does interviews with these days, any far right outlet with the same agenda whom they know the base will listen to and the base alone will not win in 2024. It doesn't appear anyone in the gop with staying power is trying to sway the suburban moms, swing voters or independents who haven't made up their mind. I know some say they will but they won't get a chance if there constantly being asked about trump. Christie and Hurd are taking on trump but they wont get anywhere, Desantis cant seem to get out of his own way at times could be the one to stand up and take control of the gop but his extreme views IMO will not bring in any new voters.

I know I am just as guilty as some, but there is not much that can happen between now and Nov 24 that would sway me from my vote.........they can spend millions on ads (that I won't watch), they can send crap in the mail (that I will toss away) but not only do I want the good guys to win but I want to keep the evil ones out, and for my money the way the gop acts these days, they are the evil ones. I dont want the Dems to play to the level of the gop but they better be ready for a fight, Biden and crew have done some positive things, even if the folks like Boebert complain about but then have their hand out for the rewards that bestow her state and then spin it as if she DEMANDED it.

The gop is great on spin and not much substance..............for real, when was the last piece of legislation passed by the gop that was good for the country?

Serious question for GOP supporters and our own unique moderate Democrat troll: can you provide an example of anything positive the current GOP Congress has accomplished that benefits our country? Anything that refutes the bleak and troubling picture portrayed in this thread?

Maybe a simple video like this presenting what your party has accomplished:

This whole scene creeps me out a bit. It's like a scene from the inside of some little gathering of brainwashed church cult followers listening to their leader preach. Look at those people as he utters his propaganda and lies.

It is scary. And I sincerely mean no insult to those under his spell.

A lot of genuinely nice people died in Jim Jones' Guyana massacre, and this sleazy barker DJT could make Jonestown look like a leisurely picnic before he's done.

The carnage from GOP's rollback of child labor laws is just starting

If there is a predictable outcome from the rollback of child labor laws now taking place in red states nationwide, it’s that a flood of injured children is on the way. We are now standing on the edge of the water.

In just the last week, reports of horrific child deaths have come from Mississippi and Wisconsin. In the first case, a 16-year-old Guatemalan boy was killed at a poultry plant in Mississippi. In the second, a 16-year-old boy was killed when he got pinned in a wood-stacking machine at a sawmill.

What may be most horrifying about these accidents is that the work the children were doing is illegal under the laws of both states. But they happened amid a nationwide push by manufacturer and restaurant lobbies to liberalize child labor laws in those states and elsewhere.

Child labor laws are among those most frequently flouted by businesses. The number of minors employed in violation of child labor laws in fiscal 2022 increased by 37.5% over the previous year, according to Department of Labor statistics. The number of minors employed in hazardous work in violation of state and federal laws increased by 26% in that period.

I wouldn't say it is responsible anyway, but wishing the death penalty is a little different than wishing death. The death penalty implies there would be a trial and a finding of guilt that justified the killing whereas sinply death implies an extrajudicial murder. Both are irresponsible, but wishing the death penalty is slightly less so.

All of this could be preventable if Texas simply accept bidens money for medicaid expansion. The MAGAts will tell us its somehow liberal "destroying" this country when they treat their citizens like 2nd class humans

If the money doesn't feed their dirty greedy own pockets, then Texas Republicans disapprove of the plans. Spare me your sob stories you socialists for handouts. We will be armed and ready to storm and overtake if you dare to vote us out.

Yeah, it might not be as direct as some of the other Republican and MAGA threats, but they do know they have a radical far right following who will search and kill the targets fed into their sick brains. The crazy and violent right groups mixed in that bunch of brainwashed Trumpers were definitely searching to kill Pence and Pelosi on Jan 6rh.
