You are absolutely relentless with defending Jalen with random anecdotes. Do you ever get tired?

I watched every game. Every. Game. The dude needs to become more efficient. He takes a ton of bad shots.

Jalen Green needs to improve. No ****.

But he's in line and even better than a lot of current star guards in terms of efficiency and turnover proneness over their respective first two years.

I watched a lot of games. And I can explain the game of basketball better than you so... Ya I don't care for your takes at face value. Show it.

Dude why don't you just read the last couple of pages. You come in at an end of a discussion, insert your face value 2 cents with no justification while I typed out dissertations and are like "show me"

Go ****ing read dude. It's readily there fore you.

You need to seriously get away from writing dissertations and pick up a ball and play more yourself.

Hey man because you might disagree with my points doesn't mean you have to analyze my lifestyle. And maybe some self awareness. 80,000 posts isn't exactly someone who occasionally posts.

I voted rise because I am hopeful but I have to admit I am not 100% sure he will.

Green needs to improve his paint scoring inside the restricted area. He shot 55% last year inside the RA and 53% inside 5 ft. He needs to get this up to at least 58-60%. The dominant vet guards in the league are shooting 58-75% in the RA. He also needs to improve his mid range to at least 42-45% after shooting 39% last year. Dominant guards are shooting 45-49% mid range. But all of these guys are more seasoned than Jalen.

Take some of these dominant guards in their 2nd year. Booker shot 37% mid range and 55% inside RA similar to Green’s numbers in his 2nd year. Kyrie shot 55% inside RA and 44% mid range. Fox shot 62% inside RA and 37% mid range. Lillard shot 50% inside RA and 44% mid range. These guys developed their game through the years shooting 68-76% inside the RA and above 45% mid range last year. Also note that Booker improved his RA shooting to 59% and 42% mid range in his 3rd year.

Players evolve and develop their games and Green’s numbers are up there with the game’s brightest in their 2nd year. If this is any indication he will evolve and develop just as these greats.

I’m willing to roll the dice on Jalen for one more year. Last year was disappointing to me, but I get that forcing our best prospect into a back court with KPJ and allowing Silas to coach out a detrimental 3rd year wasn’t his fault and most certainly negatively impacted his development. We have our GM to thank for those decisions.

the talent to be one of the greats is there. If he’s putting in the work, now with Fred and Amen has his running mates, and Ime at te helm, I’m buying that Jalen takes a big step on both sides of the ball this year.

He’s got to get mentally tougher though if he wants to reach his potential.
