I was not on the Javier gravy train in the off season as our #2 like many here. He's not a big inning in a season guy and should never be considered that He's best with extra rest between starts and as someone you don't have to rely on unless you need a spot start or long relief. Hopefully this game will motivate management to get a legit #2 now.
Looks like it's going to be one of those games. With our pitching outside of France, gonna have to slug it out.
Mlady doesn't even need to be healthy. Astros have had multiple who've missed games due to sickness. Martin gets a gametime decision, then low and behold, he's good to go.
Julks was playing by the Crawford boxes and that ball was going to hit off the LCF bullpen wall… they don’t have jet packs out there.
bad start so far but it's still early. if javy can just limit it to 3 or 4 runs, offense should show up enough to win
Exactly Javier needs to pitch 7 additional (scoreless) innings for a "good start".technically. He barely pitches 6 innings when he's healthy. He shouldn't be pitching today, and shouldn't throw more than 85
