Was thinking about my own 99-year-old grandmother’s skin after you mentioned it. Paper thin and almost transparent.

I didn't see it posted, but it may have been on one of the twitter links I can't see..... that was almost certainly an absence seizure.

Actually, I was thinking about how easily I bruise and sort of complaining about it, but I enjoyed the story, so I'm glad you took me literally.

    How serious are those?

    Could it be life threatening?

They were once called petit mal seizure, which you may be more familiar with. They are generally not too serious... not benign, but not life threatening in isolation. If he's never had them before and they just popped up it could be a symptom of a more serious problem, and he shouldn't drive.... but that's about it.

Somebody...ANYBODY...Please put in an age limit for serving in the government. 80 should be the MAX for any elected official. While there are examples of people over 80 that are still fully functional, there are too many examples of those that are in decline. Even if you still have your faculties, give someone else a shot and enjoy your remaining life.

And if they loved their country like they say they do, they would step down. I mean show me a video like that and I would realize my time to rest has come.

The fact it isn't a national holiday is very telling and is not a coincidence.

You know who this hurts and disenfranchises the most? One guess.

There are age limits. Minimum ages.

I don't think that there should be an age limit, at all. It's a democracy. Let the people see what their representatives are doing.

80 is the new 60, and 150 will be the new 80 in 75 years. Just hang on a bit longer.

I feel sorry for him. Like some other politicians, he clearly has a medical condition that is precluding him from being fully fit for the task.
