Hard to tell is a WR is good if you have Davis Mills throwing to you.

Stupid unathletic pocket statue with no awareness. Just terrible.

Some of y’all are thirsty, see a video made to look like something he’s not.

Never mind the 100s of plays he gets chased down by 300 pound guys.
He’s a pocket passer. Not a runner, he is terrible throwing on the run

What are your thoughts on the Georgia game?

Admittedly, from a few people, he was asked not to do some of this stuff in college. The Georgia game showed he's capable of doing it.

One game doesn’t change the other tape. There’s far more tape of him being run down easily. He has no burst, he’s a functional athlete. Probably similar to Mills with a little less top speed.
It’s plenty for an NFL QB with his arm talent.

The issue is he’s not a guy who can change arm slots, throw on the run or have much improvisational skills. Couple that with his ridiculously bad numbers under pressure and I think that’s a problem.

This is who he is as a runner. Can pick up chunks if they’re there, but very little elusiveness or burst.

The Georgia game was an over aggressive defense who didn’t respect him as a runner. Wide open lanes.
He’s Matt Ryan, Jameis Winston, Kirk Cousins, maybe a Joe Burrow-Burrow has more agility. Which isn’t bad at all if he can reach Ryan or Butrow levels.

His arm is big league, if he can learn to make off script throws he’s going to be good. As long as the under pressure issue is a fluke.

Joe Burrow, is a pocket passer, not a runner, and he gets sacked more times, in the last 2 seasons, but still is one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL right now. I prefer a QB that is a pocket passer, and can escape the pressure some times, and not a QB that runs more than he passes, just like Justin Fields.

We'll see what he evolves into, but we've seen this offense work fine with a QB like Schaub running it. One of the knocks early on with CJ was he wasn't fooling anyone with the zone read stuff since he rarely ever kept it. Would be great if he could incorporate some well-timed runs to compliment his arm to challenge defenses.

Right, nothing wrong with it. But there’s multiple guys here claiming he’s Mahomes level athlete.
Also, Burrow is very elusive and moves well outside the pocket. Not fast but functional while being able to throw on the run.
If Stroud shows that it’s a game changer for him

There is a symbiotic relationship there sure, but a good wideout will make himself available for any QB. The only guy who really did that consistently was Cooks. Year 3 is a big year for NFL players Im hoping Collins can put it together in terms of being a more refined route runner and maximizing that 6'4 size and 4.4 speed. We should be able to count on Nico winning 50/50 battles and shots into the endzone.
