What a load of nonsense from a sengun hater. Man average about that with silas holding him back.

Y’all are missing the point.. I’m saying there’s better chance of him averaging that compared to what @Ankara1923 said. Not saying that he will. I also feel like there’s a lot of mouths to feed, therefore it’s gonna be hard to put up monster numbers like that

I don’t think he will put up those numbers either. But 18/11/6 plus 2.5 stocks is easily doable.

Yeah idk man. Not sure how this team is gonna function. This has nothing to do with his abilities. Jalen, FVV, Jabari, Sengun, KPJ, Brooks, Amen, and Tari are gonna get some shots up

Both u and ankara are both delusional.

Sengun already averages your stat line with a sht pg and a hc coach holding him back.

He's gonna improve as a player so believing that his stats won't make a jump from year 2 to year 3 is asinine.
On the other delusional spectrum we have ankara thinking man can average 22 pts without factoring in the other players, his lack of range and coach ime plan for him on the team.

There’s more mouths to feed now. I didn’t say he’ll average those numbers, I said there’s a better chance than what that clown said. Do you understand now, you moron?

This is a reasonable question to raise. I guess we will see how things will shake out. A lot will depend on how Ime wants to play.

In my opinion, we have a lot of talent on the roster now. That's why I think we can make a big jump in wins.

That’s what I’m saying. We just don’t know how we’re gonna play. 22 PPG for Sengun is gonna be really bc of the players around. Many guys are gonna shoot the ball

Joker is a once in generational talent and he’s proving that team basketball is a thinking man’s game. Sengun can be our poor man’s Joker, but he has to be surrounded with the right players who bought into the system. I’m not feeling the current crop of players that we have, but times will tell.

Same. Problem is organizational. Denver figured out how they want to build and went from there. We don't have that clarity. We wasted with bad basketball and losing culture two years and we don't know what our identity is and how to build a roster to fit that identity.

It is what it is. This coming year will be experimental again, but at least I hope we will be trying to win, which is how you figure out what works and what doesn't, and take it from there.

To me the issue here is that compared to the Nuggets the current crop of players around Sengun are much higher end talent than the ones around 21 year old Jokic which makes the decision harder for the Rockets. It isn't because someone like you is low on them. It's the exact opposite.

Green has a much bigger ceiling than Murray. So does Amen. Jabari has a higher ceiling than MPJ. Tari and Whitmore have a higher ceiling than Gordon.

This simply just makes it harder for someone like Sengun to be the clear "heliocentric guy".

Sengun prioritizing the Rockets, getting in trouble with the Turkish national team.

He doesn't necessarily prioritize the Rockets over his national team. He realizes how important this summer camp is for him in order to establish a big role in the team, in fact he said he wanted to play with Turkish national team in the official olympic qualifier games but the Turkish basketball federation refused it.

And to be perfectly honest, him joining the Rockets summer camp instead of playing against tier 7 basketball countries like Iceland would benefit Turkish national team more in the long term.

I can't wait to hear more bad work ethics comments from @Clutch tho.

Sengun is also due for an extension after the season. Critical time for him.

Ran a Random Forest algorithm to determine which Sengun box score categories are the best predictors for a Rockets win. Put it on a Feature Plot to see the results.

    Ha! Rebounds, man!
I was thinking about why DARKO rates Sengun so much lower than Jokic and Sabonis, and one substantive difference in the stats I could see is rebounds. Jokic and Sabonis have much higher Reb% rates…

Simple fundamental thing that often gets overlooked these days. It’s a team thing, too. Some on this team just don’t bother to box out at all, like Jalen Green. Others just don’t know how, like Jabari and KJM… So you may be looking at a "Sengun factor" but really seeing a team factor
