By all accounts, Mills has looked better.

That's not a San Fran thing. That's a league thing. There's no reason to name a starter until you absolutely have to. Milk the competition angle as long as you can.

That being said, Purdy got the job because Lance wasn't healthy, he kept it because he performed.

Poster has had a super weird ax to grind against Stroud since before the draft. Don't put much stock in their opinion.

Me not liking him has nothing to do with the way Demeco and San Fran system works.
And it is very trendy to start top picks right away, Shanny bucked that trend.

Id prefer to see what Stroud has, if he busts like I think he will we can move on sooner

A lot of Strouds “supporters” here didn’t like him all season either. Unathletic pocket passers are becoming relics

Most fans cheer for what is best for the team, and don't get so attached to a college player, outside of the armchair scouting and mocking.

I do cheer for what’s best for the team. I don’t think Stroud is or was what was best for the team.

He was a gigantic reach over numerous better players and is looking the part.

What’s weird is blindly loving a prospect like him.
Hope he ends up good, but some of y’all are blindly hoping he’s something he isnt

Either way, I do hope he is better than I think he is.
If he reaches Matt Ryan levels, that’s a huge win. And will be a true franchise QB

Stroud leading receivers will be a welcome change. Nobody will outrun his arm that is for sure. Need Nico to show up he's the best talent we have in the WR room.

Don't spend any time in the GARM if that kind of thing bothers you......Sengun and Green fans are a thing.
