You are telling me that "life isn't fair?" Golly, I had no idea. Thanks for that nugget of wisdom. Since you are so well informed, explain the "terms of peace" President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine, including the approximately 700,000 active duty personnel in their military, would find acceptable. While you are at it, explain what the only person in Russia who matters, Vladimir Putin, would find acceptable. Thanks in advance.

The deal that was being discussed last year was that Russia would fully return the kherson region and Zaporizhzhia Oblast region and RU would keep some territory of the territory they gained in the east. Crimea issue would be resolved at a later time and in the mean time the status quo would continue and RU would continue paying UKR $$ to use the port.

The USA could bar ukraine from joining NATO which would please the Russians but open a field office in the country and have a small contingent of us troops stationed there permanently to give security to the Ukraine. It wouldnt be as good as a NATO guarantee but if you promised to have us troops stationed there permanently I think it would give the UKR peace of mind.

The bottom line is that UKR has no way to dislodge the Russians in Eastern UKR and other regions where they are heavily entrenched. I know it sucks allowing the Russians to gain some land but its the only way the war ends in some peaceful manner. This war has to end before the 2024 election so Biden can control oil and gas prices. If this war continues on i guarantee you the Saudis will **** us and jack up gas prices before the elections.

Im deeply sorry I really do care for the Ukrainian people but I care for American democracy more. Trump being elected to POTUS is much worst than the alternative. Americans will vote for a fascist in the name of cheap gas prices EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I will just say Russia v Ukraine is just part of a larger war brewing between the liberal world and illiberal world.

Maybe. The big war is over taiwan which is why the US needs to end this war sometime soon and refocus our attention on the indo pacific. We simply dont have the industrial base to fight 2 wars at once anymore since neoilberalism destroyed this country.

Just my opinion. Sorry if i offend anyone.

“Neoliberalism destroyed this country”. Thanks for the laugh as pillage through the remains of the post apocalyptic US landscape….

I agree that we can’t continue to support the Ukraine in the same manner, but my larger point was that we are also taking on China, Iran, and NK indirectly through our support of Ukraine.

We can't even manufacture enough artillery shells to supply the Ukrainians even though Lockheed Martin and Raytheon are combined to be worth over 300b dollars. Neoliberalism and corporate concentration has destroyed industry after industry. We didn't even have the capacity to manufacture masks during covid.

Globalization and Neoliberalism has destroyed competition which is the core fabric of capitalism.

You keep saying “destroyed” but I don’t think you know what that means….

If you had said neoliberalism has reduced competition through corporate concentration then absolutely…. But you didn’t…

It has *absolutely* destroyed competition. If you ever have time watch this. Youll realize that alot of our equipment only has one supplier. There's literally zero competition for tons and tons of our parts and it's why our industrial base is a joke.

Maybe I'm being a little dramatic but it has greatly greatly reduced competition to the point of its a huge national security concern.

    We're paying 70k for a 5 dollar parts. It's ridiculous

Like I said, I agree about the competition part but “it destroyed the country” was a bit over dramatic.

An excellent interview of retired Major General Chip Chapman, who served for 33 years in the British military, about the current situation in Ukraine. It's from Times Radio, a source of the Sunday Times, etc. - Chapman is a man of deep experience and this half hour interview is well worth watching.

I’m really curious what is happening with Wagner/Belarus/Poland. If Wagner crosses the border and attacks Polish troops or bombs targets, all bets are off.

Now I think NATO will be concerned that Prigozian is attempting to just take out Putin by firing on Poland and triggering article 5. So there might be some hesitation at first but i think we’ll know pretty fast if it was Moscow sanctioned. If it wasn’t then will be interesting to see if NATO would selectivity retaliate with Wagner only and make that clear that NATO is only holding them accountable etc.

Either way Polish officials seem to be sounding the alarm that Wagner troop movements along the Polish border are real suspicious.

The only deal where Ukraine loses land acceptable is they get NATO entry, right away as part of it.

At this point, if there are extra terrestrials they better reveal themselves to enslave us because we are going to destroy the planet otherwise.
