Who would be Bond in a Nolan Bond movie?

Who would be the bad guy?

He only uses 3 other actors in all his movies so it's only Bale, Cillian, Oldman left. GOOD LUCK

I wouldn't mind Tom Hardy but he, like others I'm thinking of, is probably too old to last the 10+ year grind of a trilogy.

As for the villain, maybe some Illuminati type but that might be too close to Spectre. I guess an Elon ripoff with nods to 70s villains. Joaquin Phoenix?

Cate Blanchet as a Theranos like grifter/sociopath? But Nolan mostly uses actresses as motivators...

It's been awhile since we had a mad Russian as a villain.

Should just use russia/NK/China dictators in trilogy. Bond the next and modern Napoleon/G Khan

Bale would make a great Bond if he could master a British accent.

I can totally see a Nolan Bond movie told in non linear fashion. Where 007 has been injured and lost his memory. He’s tasked to unravel an international plot only to discover he was the one who set the plot in motion because M was willing to sacrifice him in an earlier mission.

You’re probably the best person on this website to realize how significant it would be for me if an Irishman played a serious Bond :)

I don't know what character, but Brendan Gleeson is in my Nolan Bond movie somehow, somewhere.

Have you seen the original Get Carter from the 70's? Harry Brown from the '00s?

hoping for an american to play bond. it's only fair.

i think a buffed up tïmôthéé chälámét could be a good bond. plus he's young enough to play bond for the next 15 years

Well I guess if it can’t be a mick a Frenchman will do

honestly I’m kidding. I have a ton of British friends and clients, and James Bond was sacred even in my Irish family
